Section 32 of the Registration Act, 1908 deals with the provisions relating to the presenting of
documents for registration by a person. Subject to certain exceptions, every document which
is to be registered under the provisions of the Act should be presented at the proper registration. I think lawyer is not required. The registration officials help you in this regard.

'Buyer Beware'.

It is good that you want to have a legal opinion about the property that you want to buy.

A good lawyer well versed with local laws and in revenue/property/civil matters can provide better servces.

However the fee is to be asked by you and firmed up by you.

LCI Expert Mr. Hemant Agarwal has posted on such matters.

If you wish you may ask him.
