After submitting Resignation CL/SL can e utilised or assume as lapse.

In our unit it is rule cl and sl  shall be trat as lapse after resignation.

I want to know what is the provision under labour law of cl/sl after resignation?

Thanks

yes, el/pl is a statutory right under the factories act as well as under the shops & etablishment act.  you can claim it.

Dear Anil,

I assume that in your query  'CL' refers to the casual leave and 'SL' refers to the sick leave. I also assume that you want to know whether these leaves can be availed between the period when you have submitted your resignation and when the employment comes to an end. Treatment of the accumulated leaves depends on the rules of the company. Generally CL is allowed on pro-rata basis till the date when the employment comes to an end and SL is treated to have lapsed.

You are entitled for the  leave so long as you continue after submitting the resignation. But on acceptance, your lien is dispensed with .
