Agricultural land

Hello

I bought a piece of land in bangalore and not able to register, eventhough its in a colony with houses built aroud it.  as they say it was a agricultural land.  The seller gave a power of attorney and it is registered in my brother's name.  Now I want to register it properly in my name or transfer the power of attorney to my name.

Is it possible, if so what is the procedure. can some one advice please.

Dear Velganesh,

First of all convert the agricultural land into domestic one by paying necessary conversion charges. Then go for registration.

You can get land registered in your name from the seller directly, irrespective of power given to some one else.
