Amalgamated redevelopment of two individual housing socirtie

Two individual housing Societies have initiated joint redevelopment of their properties.  They have plans to enter into DA jointly without de-registration of the Societies and they plan to register the redeveloped property as one entity without deregistration of the existing properties.  what will be the legal status of the existing Society members with regard to  payment of stamp duty, GST etc. of their entitlement flats ?

In case two societies having operations in two separate states wish to merge, they should first be registered under the Multi State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002. They can merge by a resolution passed by a majority of not less than two thirds of members present and voting at a general meeting
