Ancestral property

Hi everyone,

There is a issue going on in the family regarding the distribution of the property. the property belongs to my greatgrand father and I am trying to determine who has/have the right to the property. My mother has four siblings, one female and three male. should the property be divided equally among them all or does the share depend on the number of children they have? because two male brothers have one male and one female child each, could someone please suggest the right path to take this forward as the male children do not want to the share to go to their sisters.

Looking forward for an rightful path.

Thanks.
