Ancestral property

sir, property on MIL name having 1 daughter married 14 years ago and 1 son and father died 7 years back.... and now that is the matrimonial house of DIL. can she ask for share in this property as after mother its the property of  only son and law says that wife right on husband property also this house was bought after division of money between father's brothers so will it be considered ancestral property also........ please answer can DIL ask for share in this property?????

DIL can not ask for share in property. At max she can seek right of residence in the said property.
