Ancestral property inheritance

Hi, My wife's great grand father adopted his brother's son; all of them are Hindus (by birth). The grand father executed a sale deed of all his adopted father's huge properties (a couple of houses and rice mills, a theater, and large amount of fertile land). The grand father in 1997, before his demise the same year, executed and registered a will on his grand son (my wife's brother) of one of his houses. Later all the three sons of the grand father, executed sale deeds of the remaining properties. My wife's father had sold the fertile land be bought from his father, and gave a major portion of it to his son (my wife's brother). Now, can the sale deeds executed by the grand father and my wife's father be challenged in a court of law? Note: 1. All sale deeds were registered for a very low value 2. All remain Hindus till date Thanks in advance. Regards, K.P. Sendil Kumar
