Dear Queriest,
In any case one person is enough for sanctioning the bail. Any natural person has the potential to be a surety. A guarantee cannot be provided by an artificial person or company.
According to section 441(4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, if the Magistrate is not satisfied with the surety's reliability, identity, fitness, or sufficient, the surety may be rejected. This will also include checking their criminal records and financial status but it might not be necessary for them to be from the same city but they will have to be available for necessary legal procedures to be followed.
Regards,
Aryan Raj
