Anticipatory bail and bail

Sir,

My brother's son (Age 22) has eloped with a girl (age 20).Both are missing from the past 15 days.

The girl's parents have filed a case of kidnapping (IPC 363) against the boy,his father and his brother-in-law.

Within 5 days we asked a lawyer to file an anticipatory bail.We gave him 10,000 rupees on 19/03/2013.

Police have detained the father and the brother-in-law and have taken them to Coimbatore Central Jail on 21/03/2013

The anticipatory bail is not received by us and the lawyer is saying it is will only next week.

We asked the lawyer to apply for a bail today i.e (22/03/2013) friday. He says the bail will ready only by monday next week.

In high profile cases people receive the bail on the same day. Why is the bail not granted to us today.

Is the Lawyer right. The case is of a love and eloping and does the law permit a case of kdnapping for such cases.

Please advice.

This is childish folly. Not a serious matter.

Anticipatory bail is of no use.  You will hav e to a bail application in the court, where both have been produced.
