Appeal notice

We received notices in post to appear in court now for an appeal filed by our opponents of a case which we won 2 yers back. The notice says simply an appeal is there in court and we need to attend or through our lawyer. The top heading of the court says as district court name, but from address is taluk level court. The letter says as a Judge has writeen to us to attend but no signature or any stamp of court on the letter.

Is this a valid letter. DO we need to consider this as valid letter and attend the court on said date or can ignore as there is no signature or any court stamp on it (Normally when we take any official court papers from court it has blue stamp put on every page.)

Better put a scanned copy and then only anyone would be able to suggest anything.
