Appeal of rti act

Every public authority must display the list of Public Information officers and First Appellate Authorities designated by those authorities under RTI Act in their website.

The PIO is under obligation to mention full details of FAA in his response and this includes Mobile No and email ID also.

The First Appellate Authority is superior to Public Information officer in the same organization

In case when the website is silent on that it is a serious violation. 

In such cases first appeal is filed and  that is sent to PIO or APIO with a request through covering letter to send the same to designated FAA.
