Application for not granting adjournment to opposite party

I have filed divoce under cruelty ground.

Wife side is taking multiple adjournments and delaying case.

Can I give Pursis to judge asking not to grant further adjournments?

If further adjournments granted then opposite party need to pay me cost of 5000 per adjournment.

I want to highlight is Pursis thay already three adjournment chances are utilized by opoosite party hence as per SC no further adjournments should be granted.

Should I submit Pusis or Application?

well, yes you can submit applications. there is clear cut sc ruling on that.

but family courts in india have lost their importance and the purpose for which these were established. see the record of all family courts, these drag cases for years and this is the established facts. family courts only give mutul consent divorce on time, a fact too.

i think sc has to look seriously in this aspect.
