applying for divorce

sir, my  friend, was married forcefully by her family members on april 28 2011. she is not happy with that marriage and with him. and she wants to get divorce from him. can she apply for divorce stating that she is not haapy with him, and the marriage was forcefull. when can she actually apply for divorce? is there any specific time gap for applying for divorce after marriage? please give details about this issue

she can seek the decree of nullity of marriage ( it is different to divorce) under section 12 (1)(c) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 on the ground that the marriage was held forcefully without obtaining her free consent.  this case can be filed within one year from the date, the force has ceased.  As the marriage was held in April, 2011, she is entitled to move the court now.

Something is missing here

If her family members forced her to marry then why she dindt ignore this marraige in initial stage itself as mariage happened in april 2011

Now unnessary she is destroying her husbands future ans his believe in marraige
