Arbitration-calling md of respondednt company as witness

In an arbitration against  a builder the witness of the respondent is the site manager who evades questions during cross examination on one pretext or the other i.e. he does not seem to be credible witness at all

In such a situation can an application be done to the arbitration ,requesting the arbitrator to direct the a responsible person from the company like Director,MD etc to come for the cross examination

Under which law can an application be made for such a request to the arbitrator
