When we scan bank documents like loan applications or audit reports or account opening agreements, etc and stored it in soft copy to web server so that it can be accessed from anywhere and destroy the physical copies then in future if any court case happens which demands the signed documents of account holder then is scanned copy can be referred as legal document or proof.

No they are secondary evidence in eyes of law they need to prove with original better keep in in bank locker if keeping them is a problem but as a lawyer and my personal knowledge will never advise to destroy original

But if the original documents got destroyed in fire or any other disaster then will the scanned documents be considered as proof same as original?
