hi
what is ARGUMENT stage in a civil trial (for partition suit) in a district court.
is there any thing like exparte ARGUMENT if one of the party doesnt showup.
how ARGUMENT happens.? do parites submit a statement to judge or will it be a oral arugment n front of judge.
can plaintiff add all facts discovered during the court of the case but not mentioned in plaint /or by writtne statement by defendant.
how long will the ARGUMENT stage goes on before a judgemnt is issued.

After date of argument is given to both parties / advocates, they both should appear and argue the case.  If one party is there and another party is there, they can come on next date and argue if the court allows.  Or else you missed the bus.  If one missed the bus then there is chance of filing written arguments.  Both the parties will file written arguments.  Argument can be lengthy when in writing.  No limit for facts to be argued.  But one should make sure there are supporting evidences to support your arguments both oral and in writing. Court will accept such documents/ records/ etc.

Arguments will be done in one or two dates max.  it wont go beyond 2nd date.  Judgement will be given as per court wish.  That no one can tell when court will give.  Even if the next date will show as “Posted for orders” not necessary that the court will give the order on that date.  A copy of the order will be given to you.  You have to get certified copy if you want by applying in copying section of the court.
