Gill, yes molestation is punishable by law and is cognizable but if the case proceeds and the respondant proves that no such act of molestation had happened he may further proceed to claim damages for defemation too since you're publishing it.
A simple restrainment order or a written letter from the molestor submitted at a local police station will do.
