It is totally wrong on part of police to attack unarmed sleeping people and this is not the first time in more than 60 years police has attacked unarmed people. Even animals like lion or tiger are said that they do not attack sleeping animals. These low grade cowards have gone below even the level of animals to attack sleeping people.
When the foundation of building is weak, building is bound to suffer cracks. When principles of freedom, liberty and democracy are compromised in the Constitution itself what better can be expected? Constitution which is claimed to be the voice of people does not have faith in people to allow them defend themselves when they assemble! The police did exactly the action which Constitution has indirectly wants in Article 19(1)b. It says:
to assemble peaceably and without arms;
Now what does the above article mean legally? It means clearly that it does not trust the people of this country like tyrants do not trust their subjects and it wants to give monopoly of violence in the hands of the State just like what undemocratic monarchs and dictators want for themselves. Now when the State has monopoly of violence over the people, what kind of State it is? Tyrannical or democratic where people are the real power holders? Ask yourself using your mind.
USA is a democratic State, people have the fundamental right to keep and bear arms, people can also assemble with arms. How many times they have atrtacked or have been attacked like this by their government in past 200 years? And how many times defenceless people have been attacked by our government in past 60 years?
