I recently wanted to purchase a flat in AGS Layout Bangalore called JPC Pearl. The flat has Basement Car Park+Ground and Four Upper Floors. As far as I know the BBMP approves only Ground + 3 Floors. For the same reason my Home Loan application has also been rejected. But the builder says that he has the permission for 4th Floor also. Please let me know who is correct in this regard.

You have to see the sanctioned plan. plan will have details of floors and the height of the of the building to be constructed, both should be followed by the builder. In one case, i have come to know, the floors are constructed as per the sanctioned plan, but the height is not ensured, so the BBMP has approved upto the lower floor, to which the height is ensured. so the upper floor has become unauthorised and no approval from BBMP
