Blackmail and facebook hack

Hi,

I'm recently engaged and my marriage has been fixed sometime later this year. My would be wife was in relationship with a guy before and it did not last as the guy's parents did not agree for the marriage, reason being caste difference.

Now that my would-be has come out of the previous relationship and is in no contact with that guy. But from past one month that guy has started sending affending text messages and been calling my girl's number continously, though she is not receiving or answering the call. He has also hacked her facebook account once and changed the password, which has been recovered now. He has been threatning us saying he will break this marriage from happening and all non-sense. Currently this guy is in The USA and pursuing his MBA.

Could you guys please advice me on how to go about with this? Any help would be hughly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

In Hindi there is a saying "Na rahega baans, na bajegi bansuri" Roughly translated it means if there is no bamboo for making a flute, there is no flute. Why don't you do a permanet solution? Delete the facebook account and get rid of the mobile. If mobile is extremely needed, then get a different mobile number. Similarly if he knows her email addresses, do not use them or get those accounts locked or deleted.

DEmocratic Indian advice is very nice.  Apart from this you can also file a police complaint.

its important to revalue your relationship with this lady... better rethink about this marriage itself... better than mobile or facebook accounts... delete the marriage account... the foundation seems shaky... get advise from elders and especially a nearby lawyer... who can put forth his legal view... with your furthermore personal inputs...

Nice sri!

Its better to delete the shaky marriage account.

See how we presume that the man is harassing a girl. The que is how he got her facebook password or mobile no. rethink from that angle. If he is daring to do so much then there may be some points from girl side also. You better judge the complete story with your own and decide whats the truth!

If your precious married life starts from this type of problem then rethink the decision.
