Boarding school

Does  the father has legal rights to send his two male children aged 5+ & 6+ to a boarding school away from their home against the consent of their mother. The mother in question is constantly misbehaving, aggressively beating the children often on trivial matters  of displine and fights with their father in the presence of the children. It is affecting the development of the children. She threatens of committing suicide if the children are sent to the boarding school by their father. In such a situation, what can the father do to save the childrns life from the bad influence of their mother? . Can the father approach the courts to obtain suitable orders/ directions to enable the father to send the children to a boarding school. what kind of pit falls to be taken care of in this matter. It appears from the medical reports of a psychitrist that the mother in question is possibly  suffering from bipolar disorder but not yet confrirmed. I will be thankful for legal advice from the esteemed advocate members ot the Lawyersclubindia.com Thanks.

1. This problem cannot be resolved through legal intervention. Contact CHILDLINE India Foundation (local chapter) who inturn will is speak with mother of children and convince her that admitting children to a boarding school is in the best interest of Children. A boarding school in the vicinity should be identified so that Children are able to meet with their mother regularly.

2. Children mother too should be offered an option that will enable her to get timely medical treatment and acquire a skill to ensure self-sufficiency and less dependence on medications.

Legally speaking, yes you may send the Children to a borading based on the facts that you've mentioned. Candidly, see if mutuality can be invoked...
