Bom hc writ: stamp/pre-admission stage, why it takes long?

BOM HC writ: stamp/pre-admission stage,  why it takes long?

It is regarding challenging the maintenance order.

The party's Lawyer in Family Court does not practice in BOM HC.

But the another lawyer practing there in BOM HC was to file writ petition.

The matter is being kept pending at pre-admission and 'stamp' stage and not moving forward.

Not able to get any satisfactory reply on the above from the concerned lawyers (both gave different reasons!!).

This is going on since long time!!

But party had to pay for every hearing date in BOM HC.

This seems to me the extortion by the lawyer.

Can anybody put some light on what is happning here?

party gave the money to lawyer to that a long time back.

stamp fees are 250/- I believe and other bhatta etc also. he hhad said adhoc some 1500/- towards all fees which are to be paid in court and all that is paid by party to the lawyer.

Is there any way to know whether lawyer paid towards those stamps fees?

Why should we hire BOM HC lawyer if such a cheap level of conduct exhibited by lawyers?

he charged 1500/- towards stamps

his legal charges are extra ...... for drafting and fighting the case etc etc etc and his assistent/typists there. (that also is very high.)

what should we do?
