Dear Sir/Madam,

I live in UK. I am British Passport holder with OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) holder.

My uncle (my mother's brother) and my granmother (my mother's mother) want to register some agricultural land on my name.

I would like to know whether I am eligible to get inherited property.

The land belongs to my mother's father. He has one son and two daughters.
He told that he would give some land to her at the time of her marriage  but he did not register or write any land on her name . As of now , there is no proof that the land belongs to my mother. The lands are on grandfather's name.
My mother has two daughters only. and no sons. I am the eldest daughter and married. My sister is  also married.

My mother died two years ago. and my grand father also died few months ago. My grand mother is alive.
My Uncle is OK to register the land with my name and my sister's name as inherited property of my grand father.
They informed me that they will register the land as 'Pasupu Kunkuma' .

My mother, grandparents,  uncle all are indian citizens and living in India, Andhra Pradesh. I am the only one lives outside india and converted as British citizen but I am holding OCI visa.

When I have read these forums, I understood that 'Pasupu Kunkuma' means 'Gift' but as i am British citizen (with Overseas indian citizenship), i cannot buy any agricultural land or cannot take it as Gift as per Reserve Bank of India rules.
Is Pasupu kunkuma really considered as Gift?

Could you please advise me in which way I can get the agricultural land and how they have to write the document so that there will not be any legal issues.

And also could you please give me the relevant office / address to approach.

Thanks in advance.

Yours Sincerely
Vna
