Dear Experts
Last week, we have fixed a deal for our house with a buyer and buyer is requesting original house papers of the house in order to apply for a loan. As there is some dispute going on between the Chairman/Secretary of our building with the builder regarding corpus fund, the latter is refusing to give the original papers to us inspite of several requests to enable buyer to apply for a loan which is causing inconvinience. Can the builder hold the house papers under such circumstance.
