Hi,
My maternal grand father was farmer and had agricultral land in Gujarat. On his demise, my maternal uncle got the land registered in his name. My maternal uncle also expired about 6 - 7 years back and his sons got the land registered in their name. They still hold the same piece of land which my grandfather bought long back.
Now, my question is, since, my grand father was a farmer, can my mother (72 years old) become a farmer in Gujarat ? I wish to buy small piece of agricultral land in her name in Gujarat near Valsad.
