Buying property in joint names

Myself and my friend wish to purchase a property with 50: 50 investment. Can we buy it? Or should all the joint names in the purchaser be blood relations?

In future, if one of the joint member wishes to take his share or sell his share, can this be done if the other person/member cooperates fully?

Property can be purchased jointly, but understanding between both is must.

property can be purchase jointly... no necessity of blood relations,

At the time of re-sell, it must be clear from the original sale deed itself that who belong to which share, means which part of property, so that it is easy to sell only one share from joint property....
