Can 2nd wife contest election

Hi,

Im from andhrapradesh, i want to know the restriction against 2nd marriage in elections,

Please clarify below question, a man who is having leaving spouse with 3 children married to another women, can 2nd wife contest for muncipal elections, is this case comes under personal law or ?

hi as per your quary first i know from to you can you live with second wife legally are illagelly if you live with her in legal relation than there was no problem coz in india as you know hindu ,marriage act in life of one wife person dont marry to another ladies if he do same its illegal

if your case same than your second wife relation not valid and she cant show you as husband in any legal document
