An employment bond is reasonable because it protects the interest of the employer. It enables the employer to claim compensation for time and resources spent on training an employee. If a bond is considered a valid contract, the company can go to court.

Training is itself involves some expenditure, and after taking some training, the trainee abandons or deserts in the middle, the company has to suffer. There is no specific law that bars Call Center and such bonds are legally enforceable and is necessary to protect the limited skills and time spent on imparting such training.
