Can divorce be given

One of my acquitance(male) is going through a problem marriage. He got married in 2008 but somehow didnt have any physical relations with his wife. Till today, after 4 years,  there is no physical relation or any other relationship. The marriage is only for name. The girl is living in husband's house but they are not in talking terms. The boy wants divource but the girl doesnt want. Once in a while the girl and girl's family comes and threatens the boy to accept the girl.

Is there any chance for divorce in court of law based above situation

absence of physical relation from more than 1 year is itself a valid and good ground for getting a divorce.

Thanks fo responding.

Actually in this case, the girl and its parents are not ready to give divorce even when there is no relation from very first day and there is very little possiblity that any relation will happen now . If this case goes to court of law how long can it take. Its not a mutual consent case. So the girl's side advocates would naturally oppose it. What would be Judge's view on this entire situation.

Its very difficult to believe that couple has no physical relationship for past 4 years.

Apart from this, contested divorce on this ground is very difficult to get

In the case of mutually consent case, in this situation, would the wife have any claim/rights on the property of her in laws/husband given that they dont have any child. Also, whatever property they have, is in the name of a sibling and not in the name of the boy under discussion. What are the claims/rights of the girl in this situation?
