Can i argue my writ with my advocate

Please understand that i am pusuing my Law and currently a student in LLB. Also the problem is my advocate might not know the case details indepth as me as this case order was delivered from a foreign country and deals with family law. I would be in a better position to explain the judge about the case, actually even the writ i would write myself about the past order. But my advocate would be in a greater postion to explain the local laws and where i might not be as useful. Can the judge permit this looking at gravity of the matter... Thank you

Court generally desist from hearing from parties directly, unless and until situation warrants, if your case is so sensitive you can opt for some senior counsel who can understand you properly   and who are well acquainted  with foreign laws, and take on this matter. In high court party in person, contesting his case,  INVITING GREATER RISK.
