Can i get these details - through rti

sir,

My father's ancestral houses were in his town in Tamilnadu that is currently being enjoyed by his brother. we are not in good terms since the matter of property partition came up and my father had recently passed away. i now want to gather some info about the property like the below:

current owner,

survey number,

copy of patta document,

name on EB:

This was a property that was being inherited for three generations without any documents as such..so,only when i know the above details - i will be able to get a clear picture on who is the current owner as per the registration records and to establish my right to inherit from them. can i file a RTI to get all the above info from the sub registrar office. so kindly let me know if RTI can help me in the above matter without violating any of its clauses.

It will be very be very difficult to get information without providing even the basic information namely the survey number of the property to the information  officer,
