an adult girl of 18 has the right to consent on s*x, but if the  consent given under the promise of solemnization of marriage, then it may be treated as rape.

for acquital it has  to be proved that there was no promise of marriage.

the girl can plead that she had s*x with him on the promise that he wud marry her but for that she wud not have permitted him can give rise tto 376

MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING CLAIMED AS A FALSE PROMISE OF MARRIAGE.

SOMETIMES OFFER FROM THE GIRL, IS BEING  USED AS A FALSE PROMISE OF MARRIAGE, WITH INTENTION TO BLACKMAIL TO THE BOY.

physical relation under mutual consent is NOT amount to rape , but mutual consent upon false promise/ marriage is covered us-375 IPC its rape

The allegation can prove as he obtained consent by promise of marriage which did not take place.

376 read with 406/ 420/354 further read with s.23 contract Act and also the girl can file case under s.38 Specific Relief Act for permanent injunction against the accused--------- File case law is in your favour.
