I want to purchase land in dehradun, Uttarakhand. I approached a property dealer. he showed me a land but he is not the owner of land. He have power of attorney for it.
I heard that supreme court passed a judgement that power of attorney cannot be used for selling lands. Is it for delhi, NCR region or whole India?
Problem is he is demanding 3 Lakh advance and I am slightly confused now.
he will give stamp paper describing the land and give to me when I give him advance.
I am zero in understanding laws. kindly, give me a suitable advice.
I am confused because 3 Lakh is not a small amount for me.
