Can public servants like Police, SEBI officials, NSE officials directly tried u/s 218 IPC, without seeking permission of Govt as required under CrPC, for ignoring direction of law, not acting in way they were to act, knowinly that they will save or likely save an accused from punishment?
Is there any Supreme Court Judgement of the issue? if so, can some one quote the judgements on issue.
