Query : Can same session court reduce the amount of bail/surety bond of
an acused person who has been granted bail by the same court
Hello Members
My problem is as follows:
Special Judge (ASJ) granted bail to accused in NDPS Case
subject to his furnishing bail bond in the sum of rupees one lakh.
Accused could not arrange surety.
Now accused want to move application for reduction of bail amount
before the same court of session judge which has granted bail.
Under which provision Session Court can itself reduce the bail amount
when it has granted bail.
I need some case law.
