Can someone take over possession of plat if they have a patta?

we have two adjoining plots in Jaipur separated by a boundary and they were bought in the year 1984 (when obtaining Patta was enough, no registry). We live out of Jaipur and rarely visited the above property. recently got to know that a third party has taken possession of the above properties by demolishing the boundary wall and took possession over both the plots and started construction over the same.

Subsequently, we filed an online FIR, through which the construction work has stopped, however, the possessor claims that he also has the patta for our lands.

The society issued Patta, and I heard that the society owner is already in jail for such repeated offenses.

What is our remedy? Please suggest.

Hello,

You can complain to society as the plot is allotted by society or any authorised officer appointed in society. You also have the option to approach court and file suit for declaring your ownership and for getting possession of the porperty.
