SIR,
pl clarify if one of the two legally eligible heirs of a DECEASED parent is a NRI , can he obtain succession cert from that country and especially if the other legal heir has SURRENDERS his claim on SHARES/portfolios and has NO OBJECTION in other NRI heir take control of the left over shares/portfolios of DECEASED Parent.

Sir,
The PORTFOLIOS &Shares are of INDIAN cos and located in INDIA only. The other legal heir in India is not interested in these and prepared to give AFFIDAVIT to this effect.The other legal Heir is NRI.
