Under RTI act can we ask for the information from a Society or Trust about their expenditure, annual income, and total amount remaining?

no. trusts and societies are not coming under RTI. however, you can get information through government bodies controlling them.

Under RTI, Donor to Society or Trust have no direct right to ask for information about their expenditure, annual income, and total amount remaining as enquired by querist .
one have to approach Charity commissioner under whose jurisdiction, society or Trust is registered and seek necessary information under RTI
