My wife have mentioned in the complaint that her parents have given dowry during the marriage and also the same mentioned by her parents,brother inlaw and family friend in statements given by them in PS which was used to file the charge sheet that the dowry was given during the marrige.since giving dowry is also crime, can we file the case under DP 3 for giving the dowry?
and also in complaint which was given by my wife also mentioned that, i am not interested in dowry, just arrnage the marrige only. accordinlgy marriage was arrange.inspite of this stament they have gone ahead and said that dowry was given during the marrige.
pls advise if i can file the case under DP3 for giving the dowry since giving dowry also a crime, against who are all given the statements in PS.
