Can we file counter case before trials starts in 498a

Dear Experts,

can we file  counter case after year of filling 498A which is yet to start the trail.i am planning to file the cheating,criminal breach of  trust,threating cases and DP3 through prvate complaint, will there be any question like why you have decided to file after  one year not fillied earlier.And will it be accepted or will it be dissmised any thought pls.

pls advise what are counter case can we file on the family member too.
