Cancel out of court settlement

Under what circumstances, can a party ask the court where appeal on the lower court decree lies, to cancel the out of court settlement agreement.

Out of court agreement happened while the issue was in high court between A and B.

'A' is the lower court decree holder. while appeal still lies in court can 'A' approach court to cancel the agreement on the grounds he could not fulfill the clauses(Does not have enough money) of agreement.

Then What kind of argument B can put to stop court from cancelling agreement.
