I purchased a new car on 10.12.2009 paid its premum in full and sold old car on 13.12.2009. I applied for 50% no claim bonus certificate in respect of old car and obtained the certificate dated 17.12.2009.
Now on the production of original 50% no claim bonus certificate to the new car insurance company, I requested for refund of premum. The company has refused on the ground that date of purchase of new car is earlier but the date of no claim bonus certificate or the date of sale of old car is later.
My question is that is there any legal provision on which I can insist on refund. Alternatively legal provisions which entitle the new car insurance company to refuse refund on the given ground
