Hi
Am belongs to MBC caste and am going to marry SC caste boy. I hubby wants to change his caste from SC to MBC. So that my parents will accept him.
Is there any possibilites to change his caste from SC to MBC. And I wants to give MBC caste for my childerns also. Please let me know is there any chances.

Hi Sudha,
As per Indian law, any one can marry upto his wishes... Change of caste will be done from lower to higher castes.. If SC wants to convert to BC - he can and for this he needs to produce an affadivit and got corrected in Tehsildar's office...
But, as per my knowledge .. let him continue in the same caste and someone from ur relatives can adopt him and he can follow ur customs...
