Caste issue

Dear sir , I'm a 22 year old boy, currently working in a private company.to my knowledge till now I belong to OBC category and the same says all my records either in school or college. Now...I got to know that we belong to SC category and records of my father say that. Now how can I rectify this,I want to be civil servant ,please help me with a solution
