Is there any provision through which a person who is a major can change his father's name in India.
In case of adopted children, the name of adoptee father will be used as a guardian or as a father. Can a person be adopted after 18 years of age and in that case can he change the name of his/her father. please explain.

yes, you can change you father name by way of notification, you may approach you area Gazatte Press office, fulfill the form and issued the notification thereafter you can use new name.
