Dear Sir/madam,
I am a divorcee with a 5 year old minor child whose legal custody is there with me . I want to change my child's surname and have her take my maiden name and with this, i wanted to re issue her existing passport ( so they can change her surname there ) . But the Gurgaon PSK refused to do so and said , no changes can be done in the passport of the minor nor can my daughter even drop her surname.
