Change of mother's name on birth certificate

hello,

I recently applied for my passport but there is a major issue I am facing. My mothers name on my birth certificate is her house name and not her official name which was given on her 10th class certificate. The problem is that there is no proof of her house name.

Also since it is mandatory that after 1989 birth certificate is the only  valid document for name and place of birth is birth certificate.
Please tell me if the there is any way I can get my mother's name corrected on my birth certificate.

you get affidavit in exact your mother name and published Gazette notification thereafter give news paper for name change notification, than you will submit before the passport officer they will accepted.

hello,

I did that only and and this way I had given for name change

format::

( her name before marriage)@( nick name) changed to  present official name after marriage.

The problem is that it is her nick name that appears on the birth certificate and not her initial name, and they said they dont accept @(nick name), they said it has to be from pet name to current name without any @.

The problem is that I dont have any prrofs for her nick name so they said they only way is to change name on the birth certificate and for that i don't know the procedure.
