Change of Name

Hi,

I married in 2006. My Name before marriage is pandala Laxmi and at the time of my marriage, My name is changed to panjala Sheels (panjala is surname). In my child birth certificate and new voter card etc, my new name is added.

But in our marriage certificate they written my old name.  Is it becomes any problem in future. If yes, How can I change or how can I get proofs for MY new Name.  Please suggest.

Thanks,

Sheela.

YOU KINDLY NOTE THAT.

1.AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE THE NAMES BEFORE MARRIAGE ARE WRITTEN AND BRIDE AND GROOM HAVE TO SIGN THE NECESSARY APPLICATION FORM FOR REGISTRATION.HENCE YOUR MAIDEN NAME IS APPEARING ON THE SAID CERTIFICATE.

2.ON THE SCHOOL CERTIFICATES OF YOUR CHILD YOUR NAME AFTER MARRIAGE IS APPEARING.

3 IN CASE YOU INSIST THEN YOU MAY MENTION ALL FACTS ABOUT MAIDEN NAME AND NAME AFTER MARRIAGE AND MAKE AN AFFIDAVIT AND GET THE SAME NOTORISED.THIS WILL SERVE YOUR PURPOSE AND MAY NOT COST YOU MUCH.

4.YOU MAY GET THE NAME PUBLISHED IN GAZETTE.GOOD LUCK.

IN CASE YOU NEED ANY FURTHER HELP KINDLY SEND DETAILS.REGARDS.
