Change of sale Deed

Dear Sir

I purchased a plot admeasuring 2000 sq.ft from a real estate company. In the sale deed, the schedule of the land showing the position of land has been wrongly marked. I came to to know this fact, when the actual possession of land was given  to me. Though, I have discussed this with the company, they are not cooperating with me to rectify the mistake in the land schedule as well as the sketch map annexed in the sale deed. I would like to know if there is a way to rectify this mistake unilaterally with the Registrar office.

Regards

Ashirbad

You can make a rectification deed.   The seller or vendor will be required for the registration of the deed.  If the seller is not willing to make it then make a declaration deed and approach competent authority to make appropriate changes in land records.
