As per your query, in case you need to make alterations in the house no. you need to appear before the sub-registrar's office where it was previously registered. There you're supposed to submit an application to the official, seeking correction in the document, along with all the supporting documents. If major changes are required in the original document, them you have to take along two witnesses, for the registration of the rectification deed.
After this all the necessary changes will be made.
